Ohhh sooo disappointed!!

Quick explanation of pictures because I really need to post the rest of the pictures from our honeymoon. Rory and I were told by several people that some of the museums in Balboa Park were free on Tuesday. We drive down Tuesday morning excited to see all of these cool museums. We walk in to the first museum and the receptionist told us the admission price was $18. I started laughing. Rory and I walked right back out the door. I wasn't about to spend that much money on a museum that I didn't really want to see. We went to an electronic board that showed all the museums that were free that day. We then walked around and FINALLY found the "FREE" museum. Well or so we thought. There was a sign next to the free museum poster saying, "Free For Residents." I was not happy! First off we planned a trip down to San Diego to see some "free" museums and they aren't even free for us. Second off it was HOT and if you know me then you know I get pretty cranky when I am hot! Third off, I thought I was off the hook with touring museums, until Rory decided that he wanted to go tour a ship museum called the USS MIDWAY. Rory was stoked about this and it was his idea! And again, if you know me then you know that I am not at all into history! So not only did we have to spend money to see this museum, we toured it for almost 3 hours. I'm still hoping that I can get those 3 hours back!!!! Don't get me wrong, I'm really enjoying being with Rory this trip, but honestly this museum was pushing the limit! Pics from that will be coming! (Can you tell that I'm still a little bitter about it?)

Anyway most these pictures below are some of the places we thought we could go, yet couldn't! :( I thought we might as well try to have some fun with being here!

Oh to be a kid again!

Rory was soo excited to go to Disneyland! All morning I kept teasing him about how excited he was. At the end of it tho, I think he was a little disappointed. He assumed he would have more fun, but I told him that Disneyland was definitely geared towards kids. All he said was, "I had to experience it once." The funny thing about it is when we were heading home I looked down at him and noticed a "First Time" pin that he had on his shirt. APPARENTLY when I was in the gift shop, he snuck away to City Hall to get a pin. I thought it was so funny that he went all the way back to get this pin. So it shows that he wasn't completely disappointed!

First picture at Disneland together. Giddy little school kids, ready to play!
On the train....
Wasted 20 minutes waiting and another 20 minutes watching "The Return of Captian EO." For one thing we had NO idea what it was, for another thing, it was Rory's Idea, so I was even more annoyed. I got over it quickly though!
"Just Married" buttons! I filled out this survey right when we got to Disneyland. The lady asked why we were visiting, so I said, "Honeymooning." Little did she know that we have been married for 6 years and have 3 kids. She then told us we could go to Town Square and get these pins, so we did. It was HILARIOUS seeing how many people wished us Congratulations. I was gonna keep track, but I lost count after 15. Random workers and various people told us congrats. I loved it, and giggled each time someone said it. Later on in the night we then started feeling bad for lying to everyone, but still thought it was funny!
I look so much bigger then this car!
Rory isn't strong enough!
Apparently I am not strong enough, either! :(
I love this picture! He was finishing eating! Can you say I'm a little obsessed with him?
Rory thought the dinosaur would be fun for Cameron to see.
I don't know what this is, but better take a picture with it!
Warning to take off my hat! HAT HAIR! One of the only fun rides!
I felt like I 3rd class citizen when we were waiting in the lines and these "fastpass" people, just butted everybody! Who knew?
I just giggled every time I saw this picture because I didn't have any kids with me to supervise. ;)
Characters for my kids to see..

She was actually doing her job and pleasing all the fans! Don't ask me what princess she was cause I have NO idea!
I really wanted some pictures with the princesses, but they kept walking away from everybody! They shattered my dream... :(
Driving the REALLY REALLY FAST (sense my sarcasm) Cars!
Pictures of Submarine and under the water... (I didn't know I could get claustrophobic, until I went in this submarine)!

Picture of us on the monotrain (I think that is what it is called).
The castle and me...
Rory with the castle in the background...
Pictures of floats and characters for my kids...

Leaving the park...
I thought Cameron would enjoy this picture of Buzz Lightyear...

Last Picture of the day. We were exhausted, can't you tell?

Shopping, Aquarium, and Iggys

Nathan came to Utah over a month ago for work. I was really excited because it was around his birthday, so we made a day of it and went up to Salt Lake. Tysen rode up with the kids and me and we did a little shopping before we met up with Nathan. My parents came up later on that day. We decided to take the kids to the Aquarium before dinner. The kids had a blast and loved it. They were running around like crazy and just in awwww over all of the creatures. I was even surprised with myself because I REALLY liked the penguins. We ended the night at dinner at Iggys for Nathan's birthday dinner.

Cameron was quite excited when I let him play on these before we went shopping.
