Happy V-Day Weekend!

Forgot to bring camera, but luckily I had one on my phone for a couple of pics!

Yummy Yummy Onion Rings

Humoring me while I'm taking a picture of him.
Trying to get a cute shot and this is what face Rory pulls.

The most decent pic of us at Red Robin.

(If you don't want to read details about my day away from kids, DON'T. I am writing it for journaling purposes.)
I was so excited for this weekend because for the first time ever I was going to leave my twin girls overnight. They are 15 months and I thought that it was definitely time. It took me along time to leave Cameron for the first time. He was 16 months before I left him overnight. What can I say, I enjoy my kids and struggle leaving them. Is that so wrong? I don't know why I struggle so much because my mother does awesome with them and they love her so much.
I had this whole trip planned. I was going to surprise Rory, but that didn't happen because I hate when people try to surprise me, therefore, I struggle keeping surprises from other people. I booked the hotel at the Marriott in Provo. Okay, maybe I didn't have the whole trip planned. All I knew was where we were staying and that I wanted to see Valentines Day. Rory RARELY lets me decide on the movie, so I was feeling a little guilty for wanting to watch a sappy movie. TRUST ME, I was able to get over the guilty feeling very quickly, cause trust me I have watched some really dumb movies that Rory has picked.
After the movie we ended up going to Red Robin for dinner because I was craving their onion rings.....SOO YUMMY!!! We waited for about 45 minutes to get seated, but we knew that every restaurant would most likely be that busy. We stuffed our faces to the point where we wanted to undue our pants, but considering we didn't want to scare the other love birds, we chose to keep our pants buttoned. We then went to the hotel to relax in the hot tub, but after 10 minutes I got too hot and too annoyed with being that hot that we thought it was time to go shower and watch TV. In the process I realized that I had a sweet tooth and I needed dessert! So we drove to Smiths and bought 2 pints of ice cream and some OH SO DELICIOUS fudge brownies. Then went to bed in an amazing cushy and soft king size bed.
The next morning we slept until 10:15 am (can't remember the last time I slept in that long) and thought it was time to get up and go eat breakfast and then get on our way to pick up our kids in Ephraim. It was amazing 24 hours to spend alone with my husband that I love so much. I can truly say that I REALLY ENJOY his company! I can't wait to FINALLY take our honeymoon this year in September when we go to Del Mar, CA for a week. We will have been married for 6 years in August and 3 kids later, we DESERVE our HONEYMOON!!!!

Climb much?

I am in trouble! My girls think it is so funny to slide the little chairs to the cupboards and climb on top of them. Apparently last night when I was playing volleyball, Chrissy fell off of the chair. I would have never known if Cameron didn't give me a detailed description of the fall. I sent a picture of them on top of the chair to my dad and all he replied was, "You Deserve It." THANKS DAD!!!!

Pics from Daddy...

While I'm at work Rory sends me these cute pictures of my girls. They are sooo funny and have completely different personalities. It is so fun to watch them interact with each other. They LOVE to wrestle each other at night. Maybe one of these times I can get a video of them doing it because it is so stinkin cute!
