New Adventure.....

Okay everyone that's on my case to update my blog HERE YOU GO! I've been doing sooo well with keeping my blog updated, but when I go 2 weeks not posting, people act like I am MIA!!!! Well this is what has been going on the past 2 weeks. We are trying to get all packed and cleaned by this saturday. Packing is QUITE interestig with 2 little ones, but we HAVE to get it done. THANK YOU THANK YOU MOM for keeping Cameron for a week!!! He would be sooo bored and into EVERYTHING!
If you are confused on why we are moving, Quick Update-Rory got a new job in Price. He is the new Store Manager of CJ's Do It Center. We will move into my parents house for a couple of weeks until we find a place of our own. I'm really SAD to leave Cedar City because I LOVE it here, but we both feel good about this job and new adventure in our lives.

FEEL BAD FOR US YET?

Trying to sit up...

I tried to make this picture bigger, but it wouldn't. This size will have to do! I tried to get them to sit up as best as they could. It's so funny cause we still think they look sooo little trying to sit up. As you can see Chrissy is getting hair. Kayla does have some hair, but it it hard to see. They are soo cute and make me laugh everyday. Love them soo much!

Take a Bite out of That!

I am quite sad that my girls have been cursed with my legs. As most of you know I have been very insecure with my legs since Jr. High. When I took this picture of Chrissy and Kayla, I realized that they had my legs.. I'm sooo sorry girls! I will start apologizing now because hopefully when they are of age to care about what they look like, they will forgive me!
Apparently Chrissy was hungry because she tried several times to eat Kayla's butt... It was quite amusing... I think Kayla just thought it tickled. Maybe Chrissy was doing it because that morning Kayla was sucking on Chrissy's hair when I went to get them out of their crib.. Who knows! Again I'm not going to try to figure out my children.

Get off my face......

Cameron thinks he needs to sit on the cupboard when I'm cooking once in awhile. He loves to get in the fruit bowl and pick out what to eat. And this day he happened to want an orange. I wasn't the happiest with his selection because I hate peeling oranges and Rory was at work, so that left me to peel it. I LOVE eating them but I hate how the orange peel gets under your fingernails. I know, I'm odd.
The other picture is Cameron sitting on my face. I lay down on the kitchen floor once in awhile because my back hurts from time to time and this day Cameron thought it would be funny to sit on my face. When I told him to "Get off my face," he thought I was trying to be funny. That just made him want to sit on my face even longer. Don't understand why, but I'm not even going to try to figure out a 3 year old!

Such a big girl...

It is kind of weird to make a post of Chrissy without Kayla, but I had to show some cute pictures of Chrissy sucking on her toes, sitting up, and one of her playing with Cameron's doll. Yes-Cameron does have a doll. I bought it for him a couple of years ago (with approval of his daddy), so he could become soft and familiar with having a little baby (now babies) around. The sad thing about twins is we or I am constantly comparing the two on each milestone. For instance, Chrissy lifted her head up first, Kayla soon followed. Kayla rolled over first, Chrissy soon followed. Chrissy has hair, Kayla is as bald as Papa. Chrissy can sit up, Kayla can sit up very fragile like. I know, I know, you really shouldn't compare your children, "everyone is different and everyone does things on their own timeline," I've heard it all before. Shame on me!

6 month checkup...

I took the girls in today for their 6 month check up and shots. They are still really little. Kayla weighed 12 lbs 9 oz and 24 inches long, which puts her at 3% with weight and 4% with height. Chrissy weighed 13 lbs 6 oz and 24.5 inches long, which puts her at 7% with weight and 10% with height.

It is sooo different having really petite girls because Cameron was always really big for his age. Shots are still sad. It makes it even more difficult to get one to STOP screaming their head off, just to get the other one ready to START screaming their head off. I told Rory next time he gets to come with me to see what I have to go through each time they get shots....

And everyone will be surprised that I FINALLY let Cameron play with the toys in the doctor offices. I am always opposed to him playing with them because I know how germ infested they are, but today I didn't have the energy to fight with him. Don't worry though, AS soon as he was done, I made him sanitize! He does so well at the doctors, I think because he knows that we aren't going there for him.

After the hour and a half with the doctor I thought I would venture to the post office and then to the grocery store. My arms may look flabby, but I PROMISE there is muscle under there from carrying the twins in their car seats. After the grocery store I had to run to daycare to pay them for watching Cameron on Tuesday, while I worked. When I got home, I couldn't believe it was only noon! I felt like I was out ALL day long!

Now hopefully they will all go to sleep so I can get some shut eye as well.. Wish me luck. ;)

6 months old.... ALREADY!

I CANNOT believe Chrissy and Kayla are already 6 months old! Time sure flies when you stay home and you lose track of the days! I made the pictures even bigger because my sister was complaining that I don't make them big enough. And I'm not going to label them to assume that you guys can guess which one is which. Happy Guessing!!!!

Another disappointing family shot..

I don't think we are ever going to get a good picture of us. It is soo hard to get everyone to look at the Cameron AND having everyone look decent.... One day... One day it will happen... I had to post the first one because I love how the girls are looking at Cameron!

why won't my pants stay up.....

Rory was barbecuing chicken tonight and Cameron ran outside in just his underwear. I then told him that we weren't going to be one of those families that play outside in our underwear and to run inside and get some pants on. This is what he looked like when he came out... His pants wouldn't stay up and he was sooo confused on why! He sure is a cute kid!

Day at the park....

It's Friday and Rory is in St. George for work, so I thought it would be fun to take Cameron to the park, the girls too obviously. He was soooo funny. I hate to compare him to an animal(especially cause people know my views on animals-so not a fan!), but he kinda reminded me of a dog. When we got out of the car he started running for the grass, I had to direct him back to the car because I still had to get the twins out of the car and in their stroller. Then when we headed on the walkway, he went crazy and ran everywhere, all over the grass. He ran to the stream and laid down on his belly to look closer (that is where he reminded me of a dog). I am sure he was soo anxious to get out of the house because come to think of it, I don't think he has gotten out since we have been to Price... Sad, I know... Feel bad for us! JK!
He has been doing soo well potty training and was a little nervous to go to the park without a diaper on, but he did fabulous, with no accidents. He, of course, refuses to sleep in underwear, so I don't know how well he will do when he starts.... Back to the park....
Cameron grabbed one of those dandelions (the white ones that you make a wish with or sang, Momma had a baby and the head popped off, remember?), well he grabbed one and ran up to me and said, "Make a wish, mommy." Apparently my child is a genius because I don't know where he would have ever heard that before. He then wanted to play hide and seek and ran up to the tree and started counting to 20, but then he would tell me where to hide. Come to think of it, he played on the actual playground for about 5 minutes. So he doesn't need a park, he just needs grass, trees, and a stream.
It was definitely nice to get out of the house and not be in a rush to get back to see Rory on lunch... Oh and the best part about going to the park, we went to Top Spot and got fries and a hamburger.. Yummy! No wonder I'm at a stand still with my weight! I definitely don't eat the best! That is another story for another day.....
Okay now that I've rambled enough, I'm exhausted... My favorite time of day is here... NAP TIME!!! GO ME!!!!
