Boy's Weekend

Last weekend the boys went to Fish Lake for some camping and hunting! I was a little bit worried about Cameron being on the boat and wearing the life jacket, but he loved it and had a great time. I was hoping that Rory would shoot a deer this trip, just so the hunt would be over for the rest of the year, but no such luck. And if you are wondering, his hair isn't greasy, it's just covered in sunscreen!

He is wiped out from a long day on the lake.

1st day of Preschool.

My friend Deb told me that her daughter was going to Preschool this year. I was kinda excited about it because Cameron and Ryley are only 3 weeks apart. I immediately thought, "Cameron can go with her." So I was able to get all the information about the Preschool and it just so happened they had one opening that just came up! I was stoked! I have been a little concerned about Cameron not going to nursery and not having any friends to play with, so this would be the perfect opportunity for him. I signed him up yesterday and he started today. He LOVED it! He went right in and could careless about me leaving! It was a little sad, yet I was so happy for him!

Watching Papa

A couple of months ago, ya I said it, a couple of months ago (that's how behind I am on some of my posts), I took Cameron to watch Papa fly in a helicopter for his work. He was so excited to see all the helicopters and planes that were there. He had a chance to sit in the helicopter, but he wasn't having it and refused to get too close to it. That's okay! I realize I have a very cautious child and he only does things on his own terms.

Lake Tahoe Reunion 09 (Lots of pictures)

The last weekend in July we had our annual Albrechtsen reunion. This year we ventured to Lake Tahoe. What a LONG, EXHAUSTING drive it was with 3 little ones and 2 adults that aren't huge fans of driving! In the end it was sooo nice to see people that I usually only see once a year at these reunions and of course we were surrounded by beautiful scenery. I told Rory that whenever we decide to go on our honeymoon, Tahoe is where I want to go. Vacation with 3 kids didn't seem like much of a vacation, but I had more then enough hands to hold my girls. I sure missed Rory this trip and was sad that he didn't get to go with us, but someone has to pay the bills.

Lake Tahoe and more....

Rewind to July...

Okay, here are some pictures from the beginning of July. Kim and Hudson came back to Price for a few days, after the Annual Stevens Reunion! Cameron was in HEAVEN having a friend every day when he would wake up.
I REALLY REALLY need to get some play dates set up for him or he is definitely going to be struggle in the social department, PLUS he loves to wrestle. I won't wrestle with him, so in the day that leaves the twins wrestling with him. It is really cute, especially because Chrissy goes back for more, but I would feel more comfortable if there was someone at least his size wrestling with him...
We celebrated Tysen's and Nathan's birthday this month. Cameron is a little obsessed with birthdays. He gets SOO excited and needs to have balloons ready, party hats, and cake. He will walk around for days talking about whose birthday is next. Tysen was able to come home for his birthday. Nathan was in Minnesota for his but Cameron sure knew how to celebrate it without him! I am just glad we have birthdays scattered throughout the year.
We took Cameron to the swimming pool, he mainly just played around the pool and wouldn't have much to do with actually getting in the pool. Maybe I have deprived him of swimming because his mother doesn't like to get in a bathing suit, so I'm not jumping for joy each summer or lets say each opportunity I get to go swimming. When we got to Helper pool, I HONESTLY don't remember how many times he pulled his swimming suit down because it was wet! And come to remember, I think the last time he was in a swimming suit was when he was wearing swim diapers last year, so he had NO idea what to expect with a swimming suit. Poor kid, didn't like getting wet! Didn't like the splashing! Didn't like much about the swimming pool, yet claims he had soo much fun! Who knows?
Lets see, what else happened in July? I played on a city softball team, we didn't take any pictures because, lets just say, our team was "Special." We won only ONE game the whole season! The sad thing is we weren't even bad, ALL the other teams were just REALLY good! It was a lot of fun and I'm excited to do this every year! I also have been working at Winger's on the weekend. I struggled at first because with it being a new restaurant in Price, there are definetely some things that need to be worked out, but overall I love it and have a blast going and interacting with adults, oh and the extra cash is always nice.

Twins milestones in July: Pulling themselves up to furniture, crawling around quicker then you can catch them, and LOVING big people food, not mush.
